December 1st at 5:30pm at City Council chambers, followed by a reception at the Trust center.

The Brevard City Council's swearing-in ceremony involves the City Clerk reading the oath of office to new members, who then take the oath to pledge faithfulness to the state and federal constitutions and to the duties of their office.

Location: The address for the Brevard City Hall Council Chambers is 95 W Main Street, Brevard, NC 28712. This is the same address as the main City Hall building. City Hall is located on Main Street, between ACE Hardware and the Fire Department. Entrance: The public entrance to the council chambers is the door closer to ACE Hardware. 

Reception at the Trust Center

The Trust Center in Brevard, NC is located at 67 W. Main St., on the corner of West Main Street and S Caldwell Street in downtown Brevard. It is a historic former bank building that has been renovated into an event venue.
